Services Conveyancing
Lindsey's first connection with the Firm was in
1993 as a Client. She decided that the Firm had done such a good
job for her that she would like to work for us, and she started
work as a secretary in 1998. Lindsey, having been previously
married to an architect, had a natural leaning towards property
work and she soon showed an aptitude for dealing with domestic
conveyancing. She had also previously worked for Halifax Property
Services (as it then was) dealing with all matters of Estate Agency
and she had a good understanding of how the property world worked
before she started working for the Firm. She soon asked
if it would be possible for her to train as a Conveyancing
Executive and for the past 9 years, Tim has been training her
in both the practical side of conveyancing and the basic legal
aspects that she needs to know to assist in the property
department. She is now Tim's Conveyancing Assistant and handles
most of the domestic conveyancing files from instructions through
to exchange of contracts. She has developed a very good
relationship with both Clients and Estate Agents which helps
tremendously in ensuring that the transactions progress smoothly
with as little stress to the Client as possible.
Outside the office Lindsey has four daughters
and four grandchildren to keep her busy, and her main hobby is
participating in the History Re-enactment Workshop, which involves
Lindsey researching and making authentic historical costumes, and
attending various fairs and events around the country. Two of her
daughters are also very much involved in this. To learn more about
