Services Family Law

Sandra joined the practice in 1999. Sandra was articled to a Firm in The Middle Temple in London following completion of her degree. Having studied French law as part of her degree, she also spent some time working in Paris and is a fluent French speaker. She worked for a short time after qualifying for a central London firm of solicitors and then worked for one year in Legal Publishing in Sydney, Australia. Sandra was for some years a Partner in a large Buckinghamshire firm of solicitors and left them to have her family.

She was a founder member of the Solicitors Family Law Association (now Resolution). Sandra has been qualified for over 27 years, and in that time she has seen many changes in her chosen field of family law. Particular changes seen have been with  regard to the rights of co-habitees, including same sex couples, the introduction of the Civil Partnership Act and growing importance of  pre-nuptial agreements, and now following recent cases post-nuptial agreements. Recently a number of nationally reported matrimonial cases have heralded a tide of change and some uncertainty in the area of financial settlements. She has been increasingly involved in more complex high net-worth cases and even where there has been an international element.

Outside of the office, Sandra enjoys family life. She has three boys, two of whom are now at University. She enjoys travelling and, in her spare time, reading thrillers!
